Veedersburg, Oct 24 - Oscar Abernathy, 58, former stock buyer and farmer, died at 2 p.m. Thursday at Southern Indiana State Hospital, Evansville, where he had been a patient for several months. Born near Cates, he married Virgil Moore. Surviving are the widow; his father, Stephen Abernathy; three daughters, Mrs. Ercil Everett, Fortville; Mrs. Constance Clodfelter, Logansport and Mrs. Cleta Ware, Attica; three sons, Verley, Brazil; Lavon, Indianapolis and Quentin at home and two brothers, Home, Covington and Rufus, New Jersey. The body was returned here. - kbz
